Undergraduate economics major students and their future - Research Paper Example Being a economics student, the researcher is highly motivated in conducting this research and identifying the relationship between the employment level which is the dependent variable and economic major which is the independent variable. This research will enable the researcher to investigate about the future of the undergraduate economic major students. The main focus of this research study is on exploring the future opportunities for the students of economics. In order to achieve the research objectives and aims, the researcher has developed a multi variable mathematical and econometric model. This model will allow the researcher to see the relationship between the employment level and economic graduates. Another important variable in this regard is the condition of the labor market i.e. the supply and demand of the workforce in general. The model has been designed in such a way that the relationship between the economic graduates and employment level will be measured for the a particular supply and demand of the workforce in the market. During the undergraduate economics program students learn the basics of doing business and how businesses and industries are operated. Students during economics undergraduate program learn not only about the basic ideas related to the successful management of the business but they also learn about macro-environmental factors as well as micro-environmental factors that can influence the performance of the company and thus they are able to analyze these important factors and take actions accordingly.
